How to measure yourself
For the most accurate fit, take your measurements wearing light clothing or your innerwear. Use a soft measuring tape and keep it parallel to the ground. Do not pull the tape too tight — it should sit snugly against your body without compressing.
Bust Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the ground and passing it under your arms across your shoulder blades.
Waist Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist — typically about an inch above your belly button. Stand relaxed, do not suck in.
Hips Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, typically 7–9 inches below your natural waist.
Height Stand straight against a wall without footwear. Measure from the top of your head to the floor.

Fit notes for straight kurtas Our straight kurtas are designed with a relaxed, comfortable fit — not body-hugging but not oversized either. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed drape. The side slits add ease of movement so the fit through the hip does not need to be exact.

Fit notes for Anarkalis Our Anarkalis have a fitted yoke and bodice that transitions into a free-flowing flare from the waist down. The fit through the bust and waist is the most important measurement to get right — the flare below is forgiving for all hip sizes. If you have a fuller bust, size up one size and the flare will accommodate the rest beautifully.
The pintuck bodice on Product #491 runs slightly fitted through the chest — if you are between sizes on this particular piece, we recommend sizing up one.

Fit notes for pants All our pants have an elasticated waist with a drawstring for adjustability — so the relaxed waist measurement is the starting point but there is generous stretch beyond it. The pants are designed as slim straight — fitted through the thigh and straight to the ankle. If you prefer a roomier fit through the leg, size up one.
Dupatta
All dupattas are one size and measure approximately 100 inches in length by 40 inches in width. No sizing needed.
Height & kurta length guide

Fabric & wash — does it shrink?
All our pieces are made from 100% cotton. Cotton can shrink slightly on the first wash if washed in warm or hot water. To preserve the size and shape of your garment we strongly recommend hand washing in cold water and flat drying in shade. Following our care instructions means your piece will retain its original fit wash after wash.
As a general guideline, if you are concerned about shrinkage, size up one from your usual size — especially for the pants.
